Dad, there are no words big enough for the hole you left behind. You were more than a father; you were strength, protection, guidance, and love all wrapped into one man. So much of who I am exists because of you.
You taught us what family means by the way you lived every day. You showed up for everyone, gave without hesitation, and loved harder than most people ever do. I will carry those lessons forever.
One of the things I admired most about you was your incredible work ethic. You worked tirelessly your entire life, never complaining, always pushing forward, always making sure your family was taken care of. Your determination, sacrifice, and sense of responsibility were unmatched. You led by example, and the impact of that will stay with me forever.
I keep thinking about the conversations we still should have had, the moments we still should have shared, and how impossible it feels that you’re gone. But even in this pain, I know your love did not end here. It lives in your children, your family, and every memory you gave us.

Uncle Larry, I haven’t been in touch in awhile, but Felicia and I have been best friends forever. I hear from her daily and she always praises you for being the best father! I will share the memory I have of you coming to my rescue when I was 9. You dived into that pool to save me. I remember falling in and not being able to get out. I remember you broke your glasses on your face while rescuing me. How can I forget you coming to my rescue! So I will say to you, Thank you, Rest in peace, and I will see you again! Nikki
