Larry "Sam" Lovering Lakeland – Larry "Sam" Lovering, 73, passed away Jan. 26, 2018. Sam was born in Lakeland on Aug. 20, 1944, to the late Edd and Eleese Lovering. He was an auto dealer, having owned Lovering Auto Sales since 1964. Sam was a private pilot and enjoyed flying as his pastime. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lovering. He is survived by his sons, Brant (Angela) Lovering and Blake (Gledia) Lovering; brother, Alan Lovering; sister, Susan Ragan; grandchildren, Brock, Bayleigh, Ansley and Aubrey Lovering. Visitation will be Thurs. (Feb. 1st) from 5-7 pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sam's honor to the SPCA.
