I first met Kim when Dayla came over to my house for a sleepover. Kim came to pick her up and I mentioned that Dayla had a fight with one of the girls. Kim just laughed and said, “that’s Dayla”. We had a good laugh at the silliness of little girls. Over the years, when Dayla would get into trouble, Kim would always say, “that’s Dayla” and laugh, it became a secret joke between us. I really thought Kim was so cool and I loved the relaxed way she had with Dayla. It wasn’t until many years later when I had my first grandchild and I worried over a newborn being held by so many people that I realized Dayla was just like her mom. When we came to visit newborn Dane, Dayla just gave him to me to hold, she was so relaxed for a new mom. My heart is breaking for your loss, but I am hopeful that the new little girl that will soon be part of the family will be just like her mom and her Gigi. I hope this will bring you some peace. Love you, Lynn
