Kent Eugene Wesley of Plant City. Fla. Passed away suddenly on Thursday June 8, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1959 to Dorne and Janace (Tardy) Wesley in Dexter, Maine. He attended Nokomis Regional High School in Newport, Maine and Kathleen High School in Kathleen, Florida. He was employed by Delmonte and was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was an avid Nascar and Boston sports fan. He had a kind heart, a gentle soul and would give his last dime to anyone in need. He was pre-deceased by his father Dorne Wesley. He is survived by his mother Janace (Tardy) Wesley of Lakeland, Florida. A brother Rick (Diane) of Savannah, Georgia, a sister Jennifer Wesley of Temple, Texas, a sister Sue McCall (Pat) of Orlando, Florida, one daughter Lynn Marie Fernandez of Apollo Beach, Florida, one son Chase Wesley of Brandon, Florida, one grandson Caleb Fernandez of Apollo Beach, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday June 13th, 2017 from 10-11 am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home 3350 Mall Hill Drive Lakeland, Florida 33810. The funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
