Pastor Strader was my family's pastor from the day he arrived at First Assembly of God on Main Street. My Grandparents were very involved with the church and as a result My Mother attended, taking all her children. I was in a loss of my own with the passing of my Mom and was so pleased that Pastor Strader presided over her Celebration of Life service and he gave a wonderful message of The Lords love and salvation (a message my Mom would have definitely agreed with). His sweet soft spoken way, it was about the need for Jesus! His anointed spirit, knowledge of Gods word and love for people will always be remembered with sweet, sweet memory. As my 1st Pastor (I was 1yr old) and my most favorite, loved Pastor... I have no doubt he is rejoicing in the Lord! Until we meet again

Pastor Strader was the pastor of my family's church when I was a little girl. My father was a deacon at First Assembly of Lakeland and then at The Carpenter's Home Church. I have been blessed to see Pastor Strader in the past 6 months or so, as my mother lives at the Estates where he resides. When I see him, I am still struck with the air of grace that he conveys in his smile and demeanor. I will miss him, he affected the lives of many. He is with Joyce now, where he belongs. God bless his family

I have been blessed by the word that Pastor Strader delivered over the years. When Pastor came to Auburndale Life I was so excited! I would sit in the 9:00 am service and hung on to every word he spoke. He also did small groups on Wednesday nights and I was always in his class. I couldn't get enough of his messages. Pastor, I know you are in heaven rejoicing! Rest in sweet peace.

I was actually reading his book and had the book on my sofa with me when I got the news. I’m still studying his book. He was one of the greatest Bible teachers of all time. All The Commandments of The Bible for the past few days. My son heard the news and was very sad. We loved him very much.
