Oh man where to start, met Karen and her husband when I moved to S Florida in 2001 I worked in the same shopping center of their consignment store , My husband and me became fast friends with her and Bill. She was like a ray of sunshine you wanted to be around. I watched her effect on people often weather a movie night, dinner out, local entertainment, slot machines she would make a new friend by nights end. Her biggest love and joy of life was her family and she was so proud of them all telling me the stories of her visits with them, the last story she shared only 3 weeks ago was a video Valentina sent of her play acting of her she laughed so hard was a blessing to see. my heart hurts for her family with her sunshine gone hugs to all. I moved to Florida in 2003 and I became friends with Bill and Karen Jewett they were my buddies when I heard that current was leaving the Earth and going to our heavenly Father which the doctor had said anywhere from 4 weeks to 4 years I thank God for not suffering and I think of her everyday my puppy passed away a few days ago her name was Shannon Karen loved location and the day I had to put her down I said a prayer and in my prayer I said you'll be with Karen and Mary who was a dear friend of mine and my mother thank you Karen for everything over the 12 years I lived in Florida May you rest in peace with your husband and your son Brian love you always Sandra
Karen, was a beautiful person. She also was fun, and just a joy to be around. I will truly miss her coming in the Salon and just keeping me in stitches.. I will truly miss her friendship and kindness. I will also miss her telling me that she loved me and she was so loved by me. Thank you Karen for allowing me to take care of all your hair needs and then becoming like family. Fly high my sweet friend and keep them laughing up above.
Aunt Karen will always be remembered as fun, wacky, and sweet. She is one of the realest and honest people I know. It takes a special kind of woman to WANT to take on the Jewett name. May she rest in peace with Uncle Bill now. I love you Aunt Karen
