Judy Gayle Jenkins, 80, of Weeki Wachee, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on November 30th, 2023.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Mascotte, Florida on June 29, 1943, to the late Ralph Weedman and Thelma Howard. She worked as an office manager prior to retirement. She was an avid reader and enjoyed singing gospel music. Her greatest joy was loving her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Spring Hill, Florida.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband, Ellis M. Jenkins of Weeki Wachee, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Barak Samson of Lakeland, FL; son, Ellis Wayne Jenkins of Southwest, FL; sister, Gail Exum of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren, Wesley (Ashley) Samson, Dane (Abbey) Samson and Ellise Jenkins, all of Lakeland, FL; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Flynn, Rae, Erin, Aden and Ella. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Weedman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 10-11 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 4201 Old Kathleen Road, Lakeland, FL 33810, followed by a service at 11 am. Interment will follow at Socrum Cemetery.
