Joyce Ann Amon With great sadness, the family announces Joyce Ann Amon, 79, of Lakeland, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 30, 2023. Joyce was born in Pikeville, TN and attended Mt. Crest School. Her family moved to Samburg, TN, where she graduated from Obion County Central High School. In her early adult years, she lived in Lansing, MI. She owned a floral shop and enjoyed creating flower arrangements with her sister and mother. She went on to become an Office Manager for Spartan Asphalt Company until she retired and moved to Lakeland, FL, to relax and enjoy life. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Douglas Amon, and leaves behind her children, Martha (Mike) True of Woodland Mills, TN; Darla Cunningham of Rockmart, GA; Allen Jasman of Ionia, MI; Horace (Danielle) Jasman, Jr. of Bath, MI; and Jean Ann Miller of Webberville, MI. She leaves a host of grandchildren, Bonnie (Drew) Furey; Andrew (Amber) Jasman; Tyler (Tiffany) Amon; Jerry Garcia; Carmen (Nathan) Smith; Anthony (Shawna) Amon; Jordan Miller; late Laura Stewart; Michael Watson; Lucas Jasman; Caleb Jasman; Morgan Jasman; Athena Jasman; Sage Jasman; as well as 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves two beloved sisters Lela (late Haskel) DeBord and Charlotte (late Bobby) Ratliff. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Rosie (Jimmy) Ruth, of Brighton, TN, and Bill Cunningham, of Pikeville, TN. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, beginning at 11am at Wheeler Hill Church of Christ, 97 Rufus Anderson Rd, Pikeville, TN.
