Joseph Richard Nappier, Jr., 37, passed away on January 22, 2024. Born and raised in Lakeland, he was the son of Joseph R. Nappier Sr. and the late Tamberlyn Ovieda Luedtke. Joe was a very private person with a beautifully kind spirit. Because of his humble nature, he quietly served so many throughout his life. He was a hard and diligent worker. At one point, he labored alongside citrus farmers, doing various jobs in the fields such as spraying fertilizer. Whether it was grilling or roasting over a fire pit, Joe loved every kind of open fire cooking. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his dog, and all types of RC cars. Joe is preceded in death by his mother Tamberlyn and stepfather Nicholas Luedtke. He is survived by his father, Joseph R. Nappier Sr; Grandmother Aubrey Kriner; siblings Gary Nappier, Brenda Stuart, Amanda Nappier, and James Nappier; Neice Corey; Nephews Michael and Kaleb, plus one on the way. Family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens Chapel, with services to immediately follow at 2:00 PM.
