Johnnie Victoria "Vickie" McDonald Registered Nurse Lakeland - Johnnie Victoria McDonald, 73, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, after complications from surgery. She was born in Bath, North Carolina on August 13, 1949. She graduated from Richmond Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (now Bon Secours) in June of 1970 as an R.N. She worked at Lakeland Regional Hospital in oncology and later was a supervisor for a home health oncology team. She is survived by her husband, Randall McDonald, and two sons, David and Mark; her brother and sisters, Larry Cole, Amelia Steinmetz, Nita Quinn and Judy Sendling. Friends and Family may visit starting at 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Gentry-Morrison Southside Chapel on Bartow Highway. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm and interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
