Lakeland – Mr. Jerry B. Greer passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He was born in Todd, North Carolina and moved to Lakeland 51 years ago. Jerry worked as a lumber delivery driver for Oxford Lumber Company for approximately 40 years. Jerry enjoyed life by spending time with family and friends. He loved playing golf at Sandpiper and Wedgwood Country Clubs and never missed a tee time. Jerry had a sense of humor that would always make people smile. He never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Margaret and son, Craig Grant. Survivors include his son, Kenny (Vicky) Grant; daughters, Connie Grant, Sandy (Jeff) Sippel, Tricia (Herby) Glaros, Tracey Greer; brothers, Larry and Walter Greer; sister, Peggy Gabriel; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, 10:00 – 11:00am at Ardella Baptist Church, 709 W. Pipkin Rd. with funeral services beginning at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park. Arrangements by Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel.
