Jeremy Scott Goodson, 37, passed away March 13, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeremy was born in Tampa, Florida on January 5, 1984. He remained a resident of central Florida, where he worked as a Dental Lab Technician. Jeremy enjoyed gaming, movies, day trips, and especially time spent with his son. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Goodson; son, Greyson Michael Goodson; mother, Ruth Morton; brother, Shawn Cameron Goodson; grandparents, Matthew Wilbur Sandifer and Sharon Myers; grandmother, Virginia Goodson; uncle's, Matthew (Sandy) Sandifer, Jr., Timothy Sandifer, Wayne Michael Sandifer; his aunt, Pam Sandifer; father in law, Michael Steffen; mother in law, Margie Hartmann; sister in law, Mandi James; brother in law, Michael Steffen, II; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 20th at 10 am, at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park. The family requests that those in attendance for the service wear Jeremy's favorite color blue in his honor.
