James V. Bryant Lakeland - James V. Bryant, 77, passed away May 19, 2025.

Mr. Bryant was born in Lakeland, FL on November 30, 1947, and remained a lifelong resident. He served in the U.S. Army before he began his career with the Railroad. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and tending to his garden.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, James K. Bryant and Velma (Sears) Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Bryant; children, Sandra Michelle Rash, Valarie Paige Divers and Brian Clay Alford; brother, John Edward Bryant; and grandchildren, Morgan Rash, Kendall Davis, Ryan Rash, Garrett Divers and Clay Alford.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 1-2 pm at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, FL, followed by services at 2 pm at the funeral home chapel.
