JAMES WILLIAM LAMB, 94 Publix Super Markets LAKELAND - James William Lamb, 94, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. James was born in Gibson, LA, on Oct. 6, 1920. He came to Lakeland when he was 6 years old. James was a member of New Home Baptist Church and retired as a carpenter with Publix Super Markets. James always enjoyed spending time working his cows and fishing at his place on Lake Walk-in-Water. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Belva and brother, George Earl Lamb. James is survived by his daughter, Glenda (Henry) Pierce; grandsons, Kevin Green and Alvin (Lynn) Green; granddaughters, Amanda Green, Hannah Green and Jade Green. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at New Home Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.
