Lakeland - James Gerald Jones Sr., 80 passed away Saturday August 17, 2019. Born in Miami, Florida on October 22, 1938. He was a lifelong Mechanic, Welder, Designer and Fabricator of Farm implements and heavy equipment before retiring to Frostproof, Florida in 2005.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Anne, his sons Tim (Nancy) Mark, James (Karen) and Dan (Brenda), 10 grandchildren and 4 cats that were "Not His Cats". A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.

The Celebration of Life will be Thursday September 26, 2019 at 1 pm held at the 1st Baptist Church of Frostproof located at 96 West B Street Frostproof Florida 33843.
