My Mother has so many VHS videos of JJ, Purnell, Kenny, Antwon, Amos, and numerous others dancing in our Cosby sweaters and Rayon shirts back in our jr. high days. Those were some great memories. We didn't have a care in the world back then, just having fun!

I’m JJ’s fourth grade teacher. He was always a cheerful and exuberant young man even at just a decade of age!
He was always polite and respectful in every way!
I loved what I learned from him. I will forever be grateful to have known him.
And he could run fast even in 4th grade. We all remember.

The world is a little bit dimmer today! You had a smile and a laugh that would bright up the world. Never would I have imagined that this would happen this close this soon. It just goes to show you, to live, laugh, and love hard, for tomorrow is not promised. You were that cousin that I did a lot of first with. From daycare to High school. Wishing you were still here/so I wouldn’t have to shed a tear/ the moment that you left me/ I ain’t been the same since. Wishing for the laughing days, where all we did was joke and play/ keeping you in my heart, you never changed from the start. We were like 2 peas in a pot, because we’re all we’ve got, there will never be another one like you. God has you now , so while you’re there, make him laugh like you’ve always done here.
