James "Snap" Brackin, 75

LAKELAND-Mr. James Roy "Snap" Brackin passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 in Lakeland. Mr. Brackin was born March 2, 1940 in Geneva County, Georgia.

"Snap" was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Brackin; parents, Bunion and Mertie; siblings, Benny, Billy Ray, Martha and Carolyn; and a granddaughter, Crystal Ann. Survivors include his son, Dale Monroe; daughters, Bobbie Ann Goble and Kathy Ann Brackin; brothers, Wayne, Johnny, Tommy and Donald; sisters, Betty Murphy and Linda Sue Henderson; grandchildren, Amanda, Barbie, Jamie and Rodney; great-grandchildren, Chase, Skylin, Trey, Crystal, Marianne, Joseph and Kyleigh. The visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 6-8 PM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens (3350 Mall Hill Drive). Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
