Jacob Alexander Perkins, 19, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on May 25, 2026. Born in Lakeland on November 19, 2006, Jacob was a lifelong resident of the community he called home.

Jacob graduated from CES Academy in 2024. He enjoyed spending his time playing video games, watching movies, and relaxing at home. A true homebody, Jacob found comfort in life's simple pleasures and treasured the time spent with those closest to him.

Jacob was preceded in death by his father, James Michael Perkins; his mother, Adrain Wesley-Moyer; his maternal grandmother, Betsy Wesley; and his great-grandparents, Leslie and Ellen Perkins.

He is survived by his brothers, Christopher Boisvert, Brandon Boisvert, and Nathaniel Philpott; his grandmother, Loretta Perkins; his grandfather, Ron Leach; and many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel. A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Gardens.

Jacob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
