We lost a gentle soul and gifted healer. As both a neurologist and Air Force veteran, he served with quiet dedication and grace. His patients knew him for his focused care and the calm, reassuring presence he brought to every bedside. He had a rare ability to make people feel seen and safe in their most vulnerable moments. He will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

I worked with Dr Cuervo for several years at Lakeland Regional where we affectionately referred to him as the walking MRI because his assessment skills were unmatched! He was a prince of a man and will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him!
