LAKELAND - Henry A. Y. Folsom, 68, of Lakeland died on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Henry was born in Lakeland, FL to A. Y. & Louise (Smith) Folsom, and was a proud Army veteran, Henry was a faithful employee of Publix for over 30 years where he worked as a mechanic & a supervisor. He was preceded in death by his father, A. Y Folsom in 1987 and a daughter, Melissa Folsom in 2011. Henry is survived by his mother, Louise Folsom of Lakeland; son, Darren of Lakeland; brothers, Harry (Theresa) Folsom and Herman Folsom both of Lakeland; sisters, Marie (Earl) Driggers and Grace (Gary) Hash both of Plant City,; grandchildren, Tyler (Maranda), Rainey (Chris), River, Riley and great granddaughter, Evelyn Kay. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery, 3350 Mall Hill Rd., Lakeland, FL 33810.
