So many of my childhood memories were tied to the annual “Summer Kid Exchange Program”. I always loved coming to Highland City to spend time with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. I especially loved coming to Uncle Henry and Aunt Ruth’s house. There were always other kids around whether they were related or not. That was the yard everybody played in. And played we did. All day, every day. Whether it was Neighborhood Hide-n-Seek or excursions down ‘Skateboard Hill’ and most of all, there was always laughter. None was louder than Uncle Henrys. Although he must have had them, I never saw him without a smile and he always had a special place in my heart. Erwin, Darryl, Pat and Pam, I am so sorry for your loss and can only say that he is now where he wanted to be, right by Aunt Ruth’s’ side.
My Love to all,
Loi and Jamie Hamm
