Hazel Lynn McGrath January 6, 2025 – Lakeland, FL It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Hazel Lynn McGrath, age 64, of Lakeland, Florida, on January 6, 2025. Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose deep love for God, family, and others was evident in all aspects of her life. Lynn retired from Publix after many years of dedicated service. She was the loving wife of Jim McGrath, the proud mother of Stephanie Fetz and Jeff Robinson, and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren. Known for her generous heart, love of cooking, and ability to bring people together with warmth and joy, Lynn's presence was a blessing to all who knew her. A faithful Christian and member of Crestview Baptist Church, Lynn lived her life in devotion to her faith, always seeking to reflect God's love through kindness and compassion. Her family and friends will forever remember her for her ability to light up any room and her selfless spirit. Lynn is survived by her husband, Jim McGrath; children, Stephanie Fetz (Dustin Fetz) and Jeff Robinson( Brittney Robinson); four stepchildren, four grandchildren; her mother, Hazel Townsend; brothers, Steve Townsend and Dean Townsend; sister, Pam McCarter; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by Jimmy Harold Robinson and Allman Kent Townsend. Though our lives will never be the same without her, we take comfort in knowing that Lynn is now free from her battle with cancer and is dancing with Jesus in Heaven. Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A memorial service to honor Lynn will be held at Crestview Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The church is located at 615 Old Polk City Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809.
