I'm just reading this after doing a search for ( KEY) as we used to say. My condolences. I was in the army 1976 =1984. Erlangen Germany, we shared a room with 4 other guys. Jeff Thacker (Alabama) Roy (Michigan) Key (Florida) what a fun time we had! walking the streets of Erlangen. He was very fond of rock and roll. Had the biggest reel to reel. would play day and night. He was a fine M60A1 Main battle tank. Drive/Loader/Gunner and Tank commander. Loved his beer, was a big ! brother to all.... Barracks widows open playing Bob Segar. SBB after every Maneuvers/ Field duty some time lasting months on Boarder Patrol. I thought he would live to be 100. Peace,,,,

Harold was one of my best friends at Crystal Lake Jr High. He was a very intelligent person. He told me in 7th grade he was going to make the military his career, it was what most men in his family did. He had a laugh that was as infectious as any I had ever heard. The last time I saw him was at a Lakeland Sr. football game. He looked like Sgt Rock from the comics, which if you knew Harold when he was 13 to 14 years old the transformation was amazing. But his personality was still the same. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to his family.
