Hank Wilt

Bartow – Hansford "Hank" Park Wilt, 88, passed away February 19, 2025.

Hank was born in Lakeland, Florida on August 6, 1936, to the late James & Florence Wilt. He remained a lifelong resident of Polk County, spending 30 years of his career at Crown Cork & Seal as an inspector, and later as the owner of a flower shop in Bartow.

Hank is survived by his wife, Shirley Wilt; children, Jeffrey Wilt, Cynthia Westgate, Felicity (Steve) Hendrix and Charity (Dan) Fuchs; brother, James (Carolyn) Wilt; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; as well as his sister, Jane Wilt Johnson.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 9:30 am – 11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801. Graveside services will follow the viewing on Saturday at 11:30 am at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Hwy 98 S., Lakeland, FL 33812.
