We had the joy of having Gianna and Mila in our classroom. We have many fond memories of Gyula. He enjoyed coming in to do presentations on the life cycle of bees. and helping us with our gardens. He had such a love for nature. Anytime we needed help, he was always there. When we would order honey, the next day he would deliver it in the car line with a big smile. Even when the girls moved up to the next level, he was always there to help with anything we needed. One morning during a bad storm, he got out of his car to help us with morning arrival. We treasure the memories and we will miss seeing his warm smile. Every time we see bees fluttering by, we will think of Gyula.

Gyula was a very humble human being, dedicated and loving father, caring and bees’ passionated. We will always remember Gyula as some one who could fix anything and work hard every day. We will always remember his greetings with a kiss even if you were a man. We will always remember him and the family memories. Rest In Peace!
Gyula was my brother in law. In my nine year knowing him , I found him to be an interesting person. I had never known a bee keeper in my life , so he introduced me to this world.
As a person I found him very authentic and humble in spirit. I will always have in back of my mind if I could of done something to help him. This are difficult situations with no real answers. May he Rest In Peace.
Mr. Bordas had this huge heart and we always felt his heart here at Lakeland Montessori. His daughter, Gigi, is in our Upper Elementary Classroom and Mr. Bordas always shared his love of nature with our class. One of our fondest memories of him was when he shared his knowledge of bees with our classroom. He brought in this amazing visual sample of a beehive along with jars of specimens of each colony member. He also spent many hours creating our beautiful gardens for our students to enjoy the peaceful moments spent learning about fruits, vegetables, and pollinators. He will always be part of cosmic universe and we miss him dearly. We smile every time we see a honeybee!
