Gregory Lynn Golden III (age 33) was born in Lakeland, FL to Missy Jenkins Morton (Scott Morton) and Gregory Lynn Golden II (Joann Golden). Gregory passed away on July 10, 2020 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Gregory was raised in Lakeland Florida and graduated in 2005 from Lake Gibson Senior High School where he met his soulmate Jessica Golden. They were married in 2010 and have two beautiful children; daughter Reygan and son Landon. Gregory has worked for the past 7 years at Geico. He was a devoted husband and father. He loved doing anything with the family. Taking trips, Disney World, fishing, hunting, football, and going to hockey games. He loved spending time with this brother and sisters. Gregory had a sweet gentle soul and cared about his friends and family. He had a passion for life. He was always willing to do anything with the family. Our hearts are broken with the loss but his love will be with us forever. We will forever miss his smile, his giggle, and his silliness. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Golden, daughter Reygan and son Landon; mother Missy (Scott); father Gregory (Joann); sisters Tiffany & Madison Bachman; brother Keegan Golden; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces

Visitation will take place on Monday 7/20 from 10-11 AM at First Baptist Church in Mulberry, with service to follow at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation. The foundation has taken care of Gregory for many years and is very dear to the family. Gregory was a two time kidney transplant recipient.
