Gordon Lamar Besterfeldt passed abruptly at Lake Regional Medical Clinic. Gordon was born at Elmendorf AFB Anchorage Alaska to Gordon G. and Juanita Besterfeldt who have been married 54 years. He is survived by his parents Gordon G. and Juanita Besterfeldt, one sister Jody Hays, niece Scarlett Hays, his two sons, Matthew Besterfeldt, Christian Besterfeldt, and his wife Haley Besterfeldt. Four grandchildren, Kylee Besterfeldt, Beau Besterfeldt, Avery Besterfeldt, Colton Besterfeldt. His culinary profession was exceptional, and loved showing it off, loved being around his family, and loved building model airplanes to fly, but most he loved his beloved dog Ronin (named after a Samurai warrior). He loved the Japanese history, culture, and historical weaponry and swords. If you ever wanted to know anything about SiFi he was the man to talk to. He had a deep love of the Japanese art and swordsmanship. He loved his movies and nerdy games with his sons. His humor, playfulness and love will be missed by all who knew him.
