He was born September 29, 1956, in Paterson, NJ to Herman and Marie Meyer. He is survived by his husband of 18 years, Peter Broers; sister, Jamie (Rick) Russo; brother, Rich (Mary) Meyer; sisters, Jeri Doorley and Lori (Joe) Hernandez; his beloved dog, Pearl; father-in-law, Kenneth Broers; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Barbara) and Kenneth (Jean) Broers; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be Monday, July 27, 2015, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
