FRANCES CAROLINA ALTHER, 85 LAKELAND Frances (Frankie) Alther, born on Aug. 13, 1928 in Winston-Salem, NC, left this world on Monday, July 7, 2014 in Lakeland, Florida but lived most of her life in Pasadena, MD. She was a sweet, introverted little lady who stole the hearts of all who met her. She is survived by her daughters, Connie & Kenny Hopkins, Dee & Ron Pearson and son Bobby Alther, her grandsons Kenny & Amanda Hopkins and Justin & Cailin Hopkins and Bobby Alther Jr. Her great-grandchildren include Charisma, River, Amberly, Dayvin and Aubrey Hopkins. Others that held special places in her heart include Nellie Whitted of Wagener, SC, Karen Chaney of Apache Junction, AZ and Minnie Hopkins of Asheboro, NC and the entire Hopkins Family.
