Florence G. Wilt Lakeland – Florence G. Wilt, 108, passed away Oct. 3, 2023. Mrs. Wilt was born in Plant City, FL on Aug. 16, 1915. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church, Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wilt; and daughter, Jane Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Hank (Shirley) Wilt and James (Carolyn) Wilt, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Fri. (10/6/23) from 6-8 pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel. Graveside services will be conducted Sat. at 10 am at Oak Hill Burial Park, with Pastor Danny Applewhite officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Billy Graham Association.
