Eric David Wilson, 58 passed away on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland Florida.

Eric was born in Dayton Ohio on December13, 1964 to David & Roberta Wilson. He moved with his family to Lakeland Florida in 1986.

He had a successful career in Retail Management working for Staples, Office Depot and Barnes & Noble. His true passion was his family. He married the love of his life, Marlo, January 21, 1995. Their son, Matthew followed June 28, 2006. Being a Dad brought Eric so much joy. He was the best practical joker, and everyone remembers his incredible smile and sense of humor.

Eric enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a talented artist. He loved driving his Mustang Cobra, playing with his many dogs and wrangling snakes in wild Florida.

He was a devout believer in Jesus Christ. He spent many of his last days spreading the good news of the gospel. He is now resting in the arms of his Savior.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Roberta Wilson and his father David. He is survived by his wife Marlo, son Matthew, sister Lynne (Steven) Rains, brother-in-law, Eric Knutson, many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
