Emanuel Christian
Droz
February 12, 1991 – March 12, 2025
In Loving Memory of Emmanuel "Manny" Droz
It is with great sadness and deep loss that we announce the passing of Emmanuel "Manny" Droz, who gained his wings on March 12, 2025. Manny, 34, was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, tio, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Born and raised in Lakeland on February 12, 1991, Manny attended Evangel Christian Elementary and Middle Schools and Lakeland High School.
Though a man of few words, Manny's love for his family and friends was deep and unwavering, always putting those he cared for first. Whether it was traveling, fishing, or just spending time together, Manny cherished these moments with his loved ones. He found joy in watching sports like football and baseball-but for those of us that knew him deeply- we understood his passion was for boxing, especially when shared with family and friends. These simple, but meaningful moments were some of the happiest of his life.
Manny's life was a reminder that love doesn't always need to be loud to make a big impact. Though he left us too soon, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Manny has joined his grandmother, Candita Droz and grandfathers, Fernando Vertoli Vicente Droz and Amilcar Padilla, in eternal rest, where their love and presence will continue to watch over us all. He is survived by his loving parents Vicky and Junior Padilla, and Samuel Droz, and grandmothers, Concha Vertoli and Rosa Padilla. He is remembered by siblings Michael, Madison, Sammy, Kingston, Aiden, and Evie. His legacy will continue through his nephews Jiovanni, Jaiden, Noah, and baby J, and niece, Azmarie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him greatly.
Rest in peace, Manny. Your love will continue to be felt by all of us, and will never be forgotten.
