Elsie Alberta (Weaver) Cole, 83, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on June 16, 2020. Viewing and funeral service will be held at McCulla Funeral Home, Westover, WV. Gentry-Morrison, Lakeland FL and McCulla Funeral Home, Westover, WV are handling the arrangements. Elsie was born in Uffington, WV to Rex Glenn and Effie Weaver on December 19, 1936. She attended Morgantown High School. She worked as a secretary, bookkeeper, waitress, retail cashier and manager. She attended First Baptist Church at the Mall Lakeland with her daughter and son-in-law. She also attended Spirit Lake Community Church, Winter Haven where she sang with the worship team. For many years she was the choir director at Living By Faith church in Morgantown, WV. She enjoyed camping, singing, reading, sewing, crafts, computer games and most importantly visits from family. She was active in Ladies Oriental Shrine events and Amaranth for Diabetes. Elsie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Jim Powers, her son and daughter-in-law Mike and Adelina Cole, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Rex and Effie Weaver, husband Kenneth (Kenny) Cole, son Kenneth Glenn, infant daughter Dawna Marie and her sister Mary Ellen Bennett. In lieu of flowers, take time to visit parents, grandparents, and other elderly. Memorial donations may be made to the Family Extended Care c/o Employee Fund 625 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, FL 33884.
