Elizabeth "Betty" Nichols Odessa – Elizabeth "Betty" Nichols, 90, died June 6, 2015. She was born in Quitman, GA in 1925. She was a 60 year resident of Tampa; retired from Curry's Pharmacy as Fountain Manager in the late 80's. She was an outstanding southern cook! She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Mattie Brinson; husband James B. Nichols; and son Willie Edward Beasley. She's survived by daughters, Sharon Lorraine Gaines, Linda Beasley Bowman and husband Bobby of Odessa, FL, Linda Sharon Irons and husband Bill of Gray Georgia; sister Virginia Benton of Lakeland, FL; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews that held a good portion of her heart. Services will be Thurs. June 11th at 11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Lakeland.
