EDITH A.BAYLESS, 75 CYPRESS LAKES - Edith A. Bayless, 75, passed away July 25, 2014, surrounded by her family, due to breast cancer. Edith was born in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to Lakeland in 2005. She worked for many years as an officer with Society Bank in Dayton, and also as a travel agent with All World Travel. She was a member of St. Anthony Church, The Red Hat Club, and the 19th Holers at Cypress Lakes. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Veldon, a daughter Helen Oros and her husband Joe, and a grandson Kristopher (Melissa). Friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, July 29, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 30 at 8:30 am at St. Anthony Church, Marcum Rd., Lakeland. The family has asked that donations be made to either Breast Cancer Society, Cornerstone Hospice, or St. Anthony Church.
