Eddie Silva, age 64, was born on October 8, 1959 in New York, New York. He passed away on August 5, 2024 in Lakeland, Florida. Eddie moved to Lakeland from Kentucky 11 years ago. He also spent time in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico during his youth. Eddie met and married the love of his life Donna Silva on February 15, 1991. He loved listening to Salsa and Latin Jazz, and playing the congas. He was an avid basketball fan, boat builder and wood worker. Eddie especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and all children and animals. He was a caring and loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. Eddie is, and will be missed immensely. Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Angel Silva Ramos; mother, Aurora Franqui; and daughter Aundrea (Niecie). He is survived by his wife, Donna Silva, sisters, Mayra Dearing (Scott Dearing) and Francelly Silva; nieces, Kelsey Dearing, Katie Dearing, Melissa White (Todd White), Holly Bryant (Aquille Gordon); nephews, Corey Dearing, Josh Bryant (Kayla Bevins), Austin Bryant; sisters in law, Debbie White (David Robinson), Vickie Taylor (Jerry Taylor); brother in law, John (Junior) Bryant; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eddie's honor to your local mental health & anxiety center.
