Earl Kimball Rahrer's Obituary
LAKELAND - Earl Kimball Rahrer, 89, son of Eula and Bill, went to be with the Lord December 17, 2015. Earl was a true gentleman, a kind and loving man who treated everyone with respect and generosity. He was a WWII veteran, then a radio announcer, and finally carried his training on to work as an electronics technician with WLAK Electronics for 35 years. The simple things in life gave him the most joy - taking care of his family, working with his hands, tending to things outdoors and playing with his great grandchildren. Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores and his son, Kim. He is survived by his loving children, Rebecca and David; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren, who will all miss him very much. There will be a graveside service at Oak Hill Burial Park on Monday, December 21, 2015, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 3470 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805.
