Doris Tucker Howell, 80, passed away Sept. 5, 2021.

Doris was born in Hoopee, GA in 1941. She retired from the Postal Service as a letter carrier. She served as President for both the Florida Rural Letter Carriers Association and Junior Womens Club of Lakeland.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Howell; and her daughter, Beth Flory. She is survived by her children, Lianne (Paul) Reinhardt and Chuck (Kathie) Howell; grandchildren, Bryan, Allison, Alex, Allaina, Brett, Jolene, Claudia, Rebecca and Marissa; as well as 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Mon. Sept. 13th at 11 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice & Bethany Center for Grieving Children.
