Dollie Faye "Dot" Meredith's Obituary
Dollie “Dot” Meredith, age 86 of Lakeland, Florida passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife of 58 years to the late William “Jack” Meredith. Born October 17, 1938 in Lenox, Georgia, she was a faithful Christian.
She worked 25+ years with Polk County School Board as a bus driver, and loved gardening, cooking, loving her family, fishing and she loved the Lord. Her loving spirit, faith and family will live on in all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Trena Braun (Roy), Banita Miller (David), Joann Groggs (Bob), Donna Meredith and William “Jackie” Meredith (Lesa). She had 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 @ 10:00 am, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 am at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, Florida. Final resting place will be at Griffin Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.
