Dollie Virginia Beall McMullen, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023, surrounded by family. Dollie was born in Lakeland, Florida on October 7, 1933, and remained a lifelong resident. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur W. Beall, Sr.; mother, Bessie V. Beall; husband, George McMullen, Jr; son, Terry W. McMullen; brothers, A. Grady Beall, Johnnie Beall, M. Wesley Beall, G. Thomas (Tom) Beall, and A.W. (Junior) Beall; and sisters, Pansy J. Raulerson, M. Janette Gilbert, and M. Vera Thompson. She is survived by her brother, A. Milton Beall; daughters, Sheila D. Tindle and Nina L. Driggers; grandchildren, Christina Beke, Jason McMullen, William Tindle, Denise Wright, Kristin Thompson, Eric Tindle, Taylor McMullen, Haley Driggers, and Hannah Driggers; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Socrum Cemetery across from Bethel Baptist Church. Fellowship to follow at the home of her daughter, Nina Driggers. For those unable to attend services and wishing to pay their respects, Nina will receive visitors the evening prior on Monday, February 6, 2023 after 5 p.m.
