Diane K. Dooley Jernigan LAKELAND-Mrs. Diane K. Dooley Jernigan died of heart failure on Tuesday (3/29/16) at home. She was 66. Born in Ft. Lee, Virginia on January 11, 1950, she moved to Lakeland with her parents and siblings upon her father's retirement from the US Army. She is survived by her husband, Donald James Jernigan; her daughter, Robin K. Becker; her 3 sons, Jason L. Jernigan, Brett C. Jernigan and Cheyne M. Jernigan; her sisters, Denise D. Partridge and Donna Zysko; her brother, Donald W. Dooley, Jr. and her 5 grandchildren. There will be a wake at 2:00 p.m., followed by a Mass at 3:00 p.m. on Thurs. April 7th, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lakeland.
