Lakeland – Mr. Dewell Hyde, 58, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. He was born in Thomasville, Georgia and moved to Lakeland in 1967. Dewell worked as a diesel mechanic for the family business for over 40 years. Dewell's heart was filled everyday with joy in spending time and making special memories with his two grandchildren. Dewell is preceded in death by his father, Gene Hyde. He is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne (Derek) Sito; mother, Shirley Hyde; grandchildren, Asher & Olivia Sito all of Lakeland; brothers, James (Cathy) Hyde of Lakeland, David (Ronni) Hyde of Jefferson City, TN; sister, June (Tony) Hargraves of Lakeland. A celebration of life service will be conducted on Sunday, 11:00am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
