Delmar Arlene Owens, 82, passed away on the evening of Monday, June 30, 2025, in North Port, Florida, just days after celebrating her birthday on June 22.

Born in Lakeland, Florida to Elmer and Beatrice (Sullivan) Dees, Arlene remained a lifelong resident of Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thurman A. Owens; her daughter, Susan Coleman; and four siblings.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Lynette (Steve) Stewart and Allen (Jennie) Owens, as well as 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 10:00AM - 11:00AM on Monday, July 7th at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, with a graveside service to follow at 11:45AM at Oak Hill Burial Park.
