Dawn "Mom" Elizabeth Griffin was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 14, 1957. She passed away on May 20, 2015 in Lakeland, Florida. Dawn resided in Plant City, Florida. She was a homemaker, a wife, a mother, and a friend. She enjoyed movies, sitting on her porch drinking coffee, making people laugh, spending time with her family, and helping others. Dawn is preceded in death by her husband Gene Griffin and her sister Deanna Durham. Dawn is survived by her children Shannon (Kenneth) Ross; Heather (James) Blewett; Billy (Liz) Fitzgerald; Anthony Griffin; J.T. Griffin; Destiny Griffin; her grandchildren Loralei Ross; Ethan Blewett; and Kate Blewett. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have called, messaged and helped the family during this time and to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Lakeland. Memorial Service will be held on May 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church; 15310 Morris Bridge Road, Thonotosassa Fl. 33592; with Dr. James Blewett officiating.
