With Dave, it was hard to have a fondest memory because every time I got to spend with him, it was like a giant party of life….. living, laughing, loving. I’m glad after many years of meeting Katie I had a chance to spend time with Dave and Shannon and I will cherish all of those moments. Thank you for letting me be part of things and God bless you Dave for your courage tenacity for life

Dave reminded me very much of my father who was also a Marine, and darn proud of it. Whenever we were doing artwork installs, he would be "large and in charge" barking out orders and working quickly to accomplish the tasks with precision. But, when you caught his attention to something funny, he had what I call a "deep belly laugh" that would fill the room. It was one of those contageous laughs that immediately got everyone else laughing too.
