Darrell Steven Williamson, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to parents Charles and Dorothy on December 10, 1953. On May 7, 1971, at the age of 17, Darrell married the love of his life, Sharon. The couple moved to Maryland after their marriage, where Darrell worked for the railroad as a train conductor for about 30 years. After retirement, Darryl and Sharon moved to Florida and have happily resided in Lakeland for the past 15 years. Darrell is a born again Christian, and he is with the Lord now. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon; sister Phyllis Dodson; and nephew Troy Mabe. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel 3350 Mall Hill Drive.
