When my wife, Carolyn, and I were lay ministers of music at Mt. Zion Assembly of God in Plant City, Dale and Eileen moved from Michigan and attended Mt. Zion. We immediately found him to be a talented vocalist and willing participant in almost anything musical or ministry related at the church. They sang for several years in the Choir and he also sang solos often and sang in a mixed quartette there. As a practicing C.P.A., I also had the privilege of working with Dale annually to prepare his tax returns. When Carolyn and I started a contemporary Christian singing group, Revelation, Dale and Eileen's son, Norm, sang with us for a few years, this helped us stay in touch with the Grinsteads even after we did not attend the same church any longer. Dale was a kind and easy to love spirit-filled Christian, who worked tirelessly for the Lord. I lost my wife, Carolyn, Christmas eve of 2024, so I know the feeling of loss the family has. I will pray for them and encourage each one I know to do the same Until we all meet again and can join Carolyn and Dale around that great throne of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, singing and worshiping together again.
