CLARA ENGLISH, 64 LAKELAND - Clara English, 64, of Lakeland, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. English was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on September 6, 1951, to Mack and Mary Shelton. She was employed by Southeastern University as Director of Human Resources. She is a member of Victory Church of Lakeland, where she served as Director of Data Management. Mrs. English is survived by her husband, Doug English; parents, Mack (Lola) Shelton and Mary (Jay) Combs; daughters, Christine Dodd (Bill) and Shauna English; brother, George Shelton; and two grandchildren, Mariah Dodd and Jacob Dodd. Visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Victory Church, Thursday, September 8, 2016, with services to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Serenity Gardens.
