Chad Anthony Kessler, 54, passed away in Lakeland on Friday, January 23, 2026. Chad was born on February 4, 1971 and was a lifelong resident Lakeland, the community he called home. He was a hard worker and a loyal, wonderful friend to many. Chad had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, a pastime that brought him peace and joy throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Kessler. Chad is survived by his mother, June Kessler; his children, Marissa Blankenship, Chase Kessler, and Chance Kessler; his brother, Jason Kessler; and his grandson, Caden. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, located at 3350 Mall Hill Drive. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens.
