Carol Ann Valiquette

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 78. Carol had been a 44-year resident of Lakeland, Florida moving from Youngstown, Ohio. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Emmaus Sisters, and was a Eucharistic Minister and Reader at church.

Carol liked to play card games with family and friends, and loved watching mystery shows on television. She enjoyed dining out with family and friends, and spending time with her loving husband Ken of 58 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine A. Hantula and Neil M. Hantula, her brother Donald J. Caddick and grandson Dylan S. Freeman.

Carol will be deeply missed by her husband Charles K. Valiquette of Lakeland, Florida, son David M. Valiquette of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter Kathryn A. Klemann (Mark) of Salem, Ohio, daughter Suzanne M. Schoonover (Marc) of Lakeland, Florida, granddaughter Ashley M. Smith (Brandon) of Carrollton, Ohio, grandson Austin J. Dake of Poland, Ohio, great granddaughter Kyndall M. Valiquette of Carrollton, Ohio; sister Sandy L. Miller of Poland, Ohio and sister Patricia E. Hantula of Poland, Ohio.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24th from 10:30 am-11:00 am with Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 am, St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 820 Marcum Road, Lakeland, Florida.
